Finally got it latched!
I like the black far more than I thought I would, but now need to figure out what, if anything, to do with my tan interior.

Black and tan work pretty well together, IMO. Looks good.

Looks good! Also, the top matches the top of the dashboard. I’d leave it as is. Maybe get a set of black Enkeis
.

My autocross wheels are the lower trim 5 spikes that I refinished black.

Yeah, and the interior is half black, half tan as is. Black top came with all black interior from the factory. I need new seat covers, so maybe black leatherette?

Agreed. The original top on my car was replaced (before I bought it) with black, and I think it goes great with the “parchment” interior.
I painted the hardtop matte black, and from a distance it is hard to distinguish from the soft top.

Black interior in a convertible seems like a great way to burn the cheeks. Then again I always leave my top down when I’m out so someone doesn’t slash a $1000 top to get a $10 worth of garbage.

Sure. It depends on how hot it gets. I had all black in my Mazda, and down here in TX, it was brutal in summer when I had to park outside. But for looks, a black leatherette will look good longer with less maintenance.

Didn't think about heat. We get some, here in Virginia.

Yeah, that's probably correct. Virginia gets hot

Right? I thought I was all classy with the tan top. Nope. This is way better
